Case Study
Building the online store for Blam, a high-end 18k gold jewelry brand: I took the brand as it came and turned it into a WooCommerce store, on my own, in three to four months.
30-second read
Blam is a 100% online fine-jewelry brand founded by jewelry designer Larissa Marchese, and it needed an online store.
WordPress e-commerce, solo. The brand identity came from the client.
WooCommerce catalog by collection and category
Product pages with installments and delivery times
Mercado Pago checkout and Correios shipping
Launched in 2024 after three to four months, then handed over. Still live.
The brand I received
The identity came from the client: a high-contrast serif wordmark, sage and neutral tones, Maven Pro and Inter. The store had to carry it without adding noise — some pieces sell for more than R$ 19,000.

Brinco em ouro amarelo 18k. Acabamento fosco.
Product page
Each product page leads with a large photo and keeps the rest short: material and finish, delivery time, the price, and the same price split into ten interest-free installments.
Catalog
The catalog is organized by category — rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets — and by collection, Gaia and Olímpia. Pieces sold on request show "Sob consulta" and lead to a conversation instead of the cart.
Build
The store runs on WordPress with WooCommerce and Elementor. Most of it was built in the page builder; where it fell short, I edited the code myself.
Payments go through Mercado Pago — credit and debit cards, boleto and PIX — and shipping is calculated automatically and sent insured by Correios Sedex.
Outcome
The store launched in 2024, three to four months after I started, and I handed it over to the brand. It is still running at blamjoias.com.br.
